Try the $14+1 Sats
This are the satellites into the nightly $50+$5 tournaments for the Sunday $750,000. I usually am busy on Sunday and dont play the $750K, but with you being able to unregister and turn the buy-in into tournament dollars, its almost too good to pass up. They are soft as can be for a $15 buy-in. I have played three of them in the past couple of days, I easily won my tournament seats ($55, which I turned into tournament dolloasr) in two of them, and would have won it in the third also if I hadn't gotten my KK in against JJ, just to see the Jack fall on the river. All you have to do is finish in the top 25%, and instantly you have 4 times as much as you started with. Give it a try!!

Mookie and the Dookie
Played both of Mookie's tournaments. Could never get anything going in the Mookie, as I was never more then 400 chips over the starting stack of 1,500. All things considered, I was happy with my 56th out of 106 though. Played very tight, but was totally card dead. The Dookie was another story. Pot Limit Omaha Hi, that is my kind of game. Again played very tight, doubling early when I got top set on a board with no straight or flush possiblites, and the board never paired either. Watched the push fest go on, playing only premium hands, and was 2nd when we got to 10 (it started with 28). I eventually ended up being 6th with 6 left, and only four paid. The hand before the break I watched 3 players go all-in, with the big stack winning and me squeaking into the money. I outlasted another player to move up to 3rd, and had top set after the flop when I pushed all my chips in (with the best hand!). My luck finally ran out, as the chip leader that had called me hit a runner-runner flush. Nice $50 payout though, so I had a good night anyway!

Change of Fortune
Finally have gotten over my run of bad cards AND bad playing. Played 4 tournaments on Friday, came out of it with 3 $26 tokens. Used two of those on Sunday, trying to get $75 tokens. Lost one of them far too quickly when I overplayed top pair. Ther other I finished 3rd of 9, getting me $66. Played two $14 super-sats to the $750,000 Guar. Had the chip lead half way through one, but stopped paying attention to both when I was fighting to stay in a $10 HA (Hold 'em/Hi Ohama) tournament. With 62 people starting, I was 35th of 35 at one point, and still managed to hold on to be 26th of 26. Two great Limit Hold'em hands in a row had me double twice, knocking out a top 3 chip leader, and pushed me to 2nd in chips. I went into the final table 1st in chips, and with 7 cashing the bubble took forever. At this point I totally lost focus on the two super-sats. (Guess I shouldnt play too many tournament at once!). After watching on guy just pound and draw out on people, the bubble finally burst with me 3rd in chips, and but everyone but 1st and 2nd very low. A late push with a good hand was too little too late, and I went out in 4th, but a nice little $69.40 payout. Up about $95 for the day!!

Skills Game Disaster
Thank you Bayne for posting this, but leaving my name off of it, but I want back and replaced my name where it should be. This tilted me SO badly, I ended up out rather quickly of this, and tilted off my stack on the Bodonkey soon after.

Quick Big Game post
Horribly misplayed K9 on a KQQ flop, turn was a 9, river was useless. My opponenet commented how it was a bad turn for me, when I knew full well that the turn didnt mean crap for the hand, especially since he held KQ for the flopped full house with me losing 2,000 chip in the process. I played super-tight for a long time after that, and somehow was able to work my way back up to the starting 5,000 chips. Saw AA twice KK a few time, and QQ once, made the most of them and managed to outlast 80 people to finish 25th, short of the money, but it did give me points in the BBT standings, so I am off to a fair start. No MATH for me tonight, but instead will be doing school work. But for the rest of you, go for it.
